FOSTER UPDATE (9/18/2011) - Nash completed the 30-Day Obedience Training Program through Circle Star Pet Resort this summer. He learned to follow the commands watch, sit, down, heel, stay while sitting, stay while laying down, and come from sitting and laying down.
FOSTER UPDATE - (3/28/2011) - Nash is a dog with lots of enthusiasm for playing, but at the same time enjoys time lounging, too. He enjoys attention-being pet and playing tug of war- from his family and people he is very familiar with. He understands the words: treat, supper, outside, toy, leave it, sit, and always comes enthusiastically when you call his name. Nash enjoys going on rides in the car. He jumps in the truck and rides in a car carrier quietly. When we go on walks he does not pull at the leash and is obedient to let you lead. If he sees another dog he rarely barks at them. Nash loves treats and eats with a healthy appetite. We have taught him to sit before the food goes in his bowl.
Nash loves to greet you at the door with toys and socks in his mouth and turns circles and makes squeaking sounds. He is not destructive of things that are not his toys, but does like to get the squeakers out of toys every once in a while. He plays well with other dogs- big and small.

Special Needs: Nash is a strong-willed boy who does best as part of an established pack. He'll need an owner with strong dog experience.
